I have been in the music and audio industry for 25+ years, and with my background in theater arts started in high school (Concert Choir, Drama Club [Lighting & Sound Production]), then after college, moved into audio system design and installation in the marine, automotive and aviation industry for 15+ years, having won several awards for my work in high-end autosound systems.
However, for the last 15 years, because of a serious knee injury I had to leave the industry I enjoyed so much, making a career change into web application development and design, which is still my full-time “day job” today. By nights and weekends, my Super-Hero job is doing sound. ?
I became involved in live sound engineering through my church’s Worship Tech Team back in California and served there for many years, until moving to Texas in early 2013. I brought my modest PA system, landed a gig running sound for the live music at BBQ cookoff events, and developed a reputation for creating a great mix both on-stage for the musicians, and front of house sound. As my rep grew, my investment in quality sound gear remained top priority, so I can deliver the best sound experience for everyone.
In the past 2 1/2 years, I continued to give back to the community by donating my time and sound equipment to over 50 fundraisers, benefits to help others with medical expenses, and to support events that bring awareness to many different causes.
